Benton Park - Saint Louis - Photography Studio
If you are a friend or family member you may have already seen my new space at the Killeen Studios recently! But for those who were not able to make it, or for my followers, I wanted to give you a peek into my new space. But first, I want to share a bit of the story of how this came to be....
Many of you knew that I already had a home studio that I outgrew so fast!! You see, I had been silently stalking different areas, waiting for just the right place. A different space opened in this building, but it booked up quick! They took my information and out of the blue called me to see if I was still hunting, and I was!! When we went to look at the space, I fell in love with the brick and the natural light. The idea of having my own space where I could focus on building my brand and business was coming to life right away. I knew right away I had to at least try to see if it could happen.
Well it has been a labor of love moving in putting it all together and building my brand here at Aurora Photography and Design. But I am loving the new space and loving having my very own storefront studio! This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I can't wait to show you how it has turned out! For now, You have the pre move photos as a teaser!!
This is Jenn' corner. Such a quaint little space, but perfect with all that light for the office space, and choosing all the props for your session!!
Um, can we just stop and appreciate this sliding door for a moment? It is a work of art all on its own! Paired with this old style brickwork. It is going to create such classic, and contemporary looks all in one!
I can't wait to show you more fine details in the big reveal blog post!! Keep checking back for that one.
Now you can't think we aren't going to invite you all to join us, can you?
We are hosting an open house on April 13th. Check out the event and details on our facebook page here Open House Event. I can't wait to meet you all!
But I can't let you leave without me first thanking some pretty important people who helped make this all possible.
* First - my husband! *
This never would have become what it is without him. He spent many sleepless nights, and long long hours of hard work to make it what it is today. From hanging the artwork, to building the ikea and installing all the shelving. He did the hard stuff to make my vision a reality. I am so grateful, and could not have done it without his help. Love you babe, and thank you so much!
* My parents *
Thank you for constantly listening to me, even when you don't understand exactly what I am saying. Thank you for putting up with me throughout college project after project, and late night after late night. Thank you for fur baby sitting while I travel to conferences, and destination weddings, so I can better myself and the business. Thank you for always being there, and being my number one supporters ever since day one. Even before you thought I could sustainable do photography and pay my bills at the same time. I DID IT!
* My friends Melody, Carl, Megan, Kole, Reese, Ted & Cheryl *
Oh man, if you could only see how much Mel and Carl helped with loading and unloading and transporting everything! Carl even hand made us our amazing coffee bar from scratch! He brought it up one day to surprise me! Melody spent multiple evenings in addition to the big move helping us fold fabrics and put things on the shelves. They are simply awesome! Reese, Ted, Megan, and Kole also joined us for the manual labor day of transporting everything - oh yeah I pack heavy too so some of those boxes really were rough to lug... Also thanks to my girl Cheryl for constantly allowing me to bounce decoration ideas off you, and the little touches. Shes even came up to help beautify things as we enter the final touches days. I would not be here without all of my friends! Your support means the world to me as I chase my dreams. I appreciate all of you.
* My Clients *
I wouldn't be here without you clients trusting in me to capture your precious memories. I truly do mean it every time I say "thank you". Without you, I would not get to live out my passion, and have the chance to pursue my dream. A HUGE thank you to you all.
* And last but definitely not least - YOU!! *
Whoever you are, If you made it through this really long post - you are likely someone who cares about this journey I am on. You are super important to me because not only are you hopefully my future clients, but you help me to stay in business by reading my blogs, telling your friends about me, sharing my posts, and commenting on social media! These things may seem small, but they are a HUGE part of me getting the word out about my business. So THANK YOU for doing these things. You're the best!! Thank you!!
